Part of a triptych with 'Last Call for Chaos' and 'The Flood', it was also made into a series of cards.

'River of Fire' is third in the series of the triptych, following the narrative lead of 'The Flood', though falling somewhat short. While still successful, I don't feel it quite matched the potential 'The Flood' had shown. It continued the narrative vein, though not as clearly or effectively. As an illustration of chaos though, it was truly effective.

'River of Fire' was drawn as a single drawing with no revisions, then scanned, coloured and texturized in Photoshop. The original sketch was presented to Laura Langs.
