I am tempted to show the many, many prep sketches and assembly pieces, but I don’t think they add anything to the final artwork except maybe some appreciation for what goes into it, and that’s not what it’s about. Appreciate it for what it is. Or don’t, whatever.

Can I get permission to use this as a texture?
No, I’d rather you not. I think it exists in it’s finished form as it is. I do a lot of patterns and textures with other works, and I don’t think this particular work needs to be changed or adapted. Thanks for your interest though.
